The ACT test is typically taken during the spring or summer of your junior or the summer or fall of your senior year of high school. The test can be taken more then one time to improve your score. While Iowa Regent Universities do not make the test a requirement for admission, they highly recommend that students take it to enhance their eligibility for improved financial aid assistance.
All requests for Accommodations and English Learner Supports, including appeals, must be submitted by the late registration deadline through the Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) system.
2026-2027 Test Dates (National)
If you wish to test a National Test Site, please use code #258160 when you sign up. If you need accommodations for testing you will need to take the test at a National Test Center.
